Maryland State Archives Reference & Research - Marriage Indexes!
Maryland State Archives Reference & ResearchBEST USED WITH GOOGLE CHROME.
The references listed below are to card catalogue indexes available only in the Archives' searchroom.
Someone recently asked me about searching for a marriage in Maryland. This is the best I can suggest. My own parents ran off to Maryland to get married. Not an easy to use site. Eventually, I found their marriage record located in the index: http://msa.maryland.gov/msa/refserv/indexes/html/marriage.html
So, if you can understand the site, you may just find that record you are looking for! If you follow through and find the correct info click the link, that will take you to a pdf to read.
Such as this example, click on any item marked with link.http://guide.mdsa.net/series.cfm?action=viewSeries&ID=SM223

http://guide.mdsa.net/viewer.cfm?page=marriage
It will list the name of the groom, bride, date of marriage, county of marriage, and certificate number. With this in hand, you can order a copy of the marriage record. Provided you meet the requirements.http://dhmh.maryland.gov/vsa/SitePages/marriage.aspx
