We have more than 200 million military records from round the world to explore – so you can build a vivid picture of the heroic efforts, achievements and sacrifices made by those you remember.     TIPS AND TOOLS     Free Access To honour this year’s Remembrance commemorations we’re offering free access to all our military records – from around the world – from 6‑11 November.     Military records Our most useful military collections include original WWI Service and Pensionrecords – extensive documents detailing your ancestors’ entire service. WWI Medal and Award Rolls act as virtual roll calls of the entire Army, and if you know what unit your relative was in, our WWI War Diaries offer intimate day‑by‑day accounts of each unit’s involvement in the war and often detailed views of key battles.  We also have important WWII collections including British WWII casualtiesand Prisoner of War records. And for older soldiers, start with our Army andNavy medal records, starting way back in 1793.
